COVID-19 - Phase 4 Reopening Update
We understand the confusion surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak and how it impacts a family who has experienced a loss. We want to assure you that we are still open and available to you 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. We also believe that the families who have lost a loved one should be able to come together and grieve. Our facilities are open for visitations and we only serve one family at a time. As Phase 4 Reopening gets underway, New York State acknowledge that funerals are critical for families, but ask for the visitations and services inside the funeral home be limited to 50% our normal capacity. This is about 60 people. We take the health and well-being of our staff and guests seriously, so if you are coming to the funeral home, please adhere to the same guidelines we are becoming all too familiar with:
- Face masks/covering are required inside
- Maintain social distancing
- Clean your hands frequently
- Please refrain from handshakes and hugs
- Cover your coughs and sneezes
- Keep your time limited at the funeral home
- Come in contact with as little as possible
If your family needs to arrange a funeral for a loved one and you do not want to come into the funeral home, we can make all the arrangements over the phone any paperwork can be completed through e-mail. Also, remember that churches, clergy, cemeteries and crematories all have their own protocols, so have patience with the process during this difficult time period. Please know that even though the services may look a little different, we are trying our best to maintain the essential elements to create healing and celebrate a life.
A Mission to Celebrate Life
A funeral helps the living celebrate the life of the person who is no longer with them. It’s an opportunity for family and friends to come together to support one another and remember. The service provides closure and is an important part of the grieving process, allowing people to move on with their lives.
Our mission is to provide fairness, compassion and service to all our clients. A simple rule that we follow is to treat each family as I would hope my family would be treated in the same situation.
We are here to get you through this difficult process and will personally assist with your funeral arrangements and services.
