Sandy Giunta, a very vibrant and strong 75 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 8th 2019. She was surrounded by her children; Lisa, Anthony, Sandra, and Christopher (in spirit) and also her son-in-law Gifford (Giff) as well as other family members. October 8th would have been her 42nd wedding anniversary to the love of her life; Santo (Sammy) Giunta 1942-2012. They are reunited in eternal life and Love; no doubt in each other's arms....
Sandy lived for her children and grandchildren. She was selfless and self-sacrificing and would do anything for the people she loved. She was loving and kind, funny as hell, a quick wit and a no-nonsense, pragmatic type of woman. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories, laughter, and love. Her grandchildren will miss her terribly but they are surrounded in love and will always hear and repeat stories about their grandmother all of their lives. This is how Sandy will live on...
Life wasn't always easy for Sandy; in fact she was quite familiar with 'Murphy's Law' which says 'whatever can go wrong...will' That being said, she handled everything that came her way with admirable grace and strength; always forward thinking and asking "Ok..next".
The void Sandy leaves behind in her family's lives cannot be measured; it can only be filled with love and light by those whose hearts go on in her name.
Two very important people in Sandy's life deserve special mention: Chavonne and Larry. She loved them both very much and they loved her in return. They were an integral and important part of her life in recent years and she appreciated their presence. Both of them were by her side when she passed.
When you think of Sandy, laugh...don't cry. I know she'd want it that way.
